Project Overview
A striking five-bedroom detached residence set within two acres of Essex countryside. Designed in collaboration with Michaelis Boyd Associates, the house features floor-to-ceiling Vitrocsa glazing, a cantilevered first floor over the entrance courtyard, polished concrete floors throughout and an integrated home automation system. The landscaping includes a natural swimming pond, outdoor kitchen and a 200m tree-lined driveway.
Obstacles We Overcame
Complex cantilevered structure required bespoke steelwork design. Site access limited to a single-track lane during a wet winter.
How We Solved It
Collaborated with structural engineers to design a 6m cantilever using hollow-section steel. Installed temporary hardstanding and managed all deliveries via a bespoke logistics plan.
