Project Overview
A fully insulated timber-frame garden studio designed as a year-round architectural practice office. Features include acoustic glazing, a standing-seam zinc roof, polished concrete floor with underfloor heating, full-fibre broadband connection, and a concealed kitchenette. Built under permitted development rights with no planning application required.
Obstacles We Overcame
Rear garden sloped by 1.2m across the building footprint. Client required the studio to be fully operational within 10 weeks to meet a lease expiry on their rented office.
How We Solved It
Engineered a split-level concrete pad foundation to follow the natural gradient. Fast-track programme delivered the completed studio in eight weeks.
